Mark Malis, a senior in high school at the time, was taking a computer class for the first time. He discovered a passion for software and computer engineering, a subject which became his major in college.
His first software was AutoFile, an agency management system that he created for his father’s auto insurance company. At the time, the program was stored on floppy discs and created on a laptop that weighed over twenty pounds.
